Adult ADHD Screening + Treatment Plan (Waterloo, IA)

Get clarity about ADHD and leave with a plan.

Adult ADHD screening and treatment planning (18+) using a structured clinical interview + Conners CPT 3 to understand what’s driving focus and follow-through struggles and what to do next.

Who this is for

This is a great fit if you:

  • Struggle with focus, procrastination, organization, forgetfulness, or time blindness

  • Feel overwhelmed and can’t “just start” even when you want to

  • Notice patterns impacting work, school/college, home responsibilities, or relationships

Wonder: “Is this ADHD… or anxiety, trauma/stress, burnout, depression, sleep, or something else?”

What this includes

Our process is designed to give you clarity + actionable next steps, not just more questions.

1) Clinical interview (adult ADHD-focused)
We review symptoms, history, and how challenges show up across daily life (work, home, relationships).

2) Objective attention measure: Conners CPT 3
This provides performance-based data related to attention and response style and is used as one part of the full picture.

3) Functional impact + overlap screening
We review common overlaps that can look like ADHD or intensify ADHD-like symptoms (anxiety, trauma/stress, depression, sleep concerns, medical factors).

4) Feedback + Treatment Plan
You leave with a clear, personalized plan—skills, structure, therapy targets, and referrals if needed.

What you’ll leave with

  • Clinical feedback on your symptom patterns and functional impact

  • A personalized treatment plan (tools + therapy focus + habit/system supports)

  • Clear next steps (what to do first, second, third)

  • If appropriate: referral recommendations (PCP/psychiatry, neuropsychological testing, sleep evaluation)

What this is NOT (so expectations are clear)

This service is not a full neuropsychological evaluation.
If your situation requires comprehensive testing (learning disorders, significant cognitive concerns, disability determinations, or formal accommodations requiring full testing), we’ll discuss that and help you identify appropriate referral options.

What to expect (simple steps)

Step 1: Book your appointment
Choose “Adult ADHD Screening” on our schedule.

Step 2: Complete brief intake forms
You’ll answer targeted questions about symptoms and daily functioning.

Step 3: Complete the Conners CPT 3
Completed as directed (in-session or via instructions provided).

Step 4: Feedback + treatment plan
We review results, clarify what’s most likely contributing to your symptoms, and build your plan.

Fees (Private Pay)

Adult ADHD screening is often covered by insurance. Private pay options are also available.

  • ADHD screening appointment (60 minutes): $210

  • Conners CPT testing fee: $100 out-of-pocket

Additional sessions (60 minutes): $185 (as needed for feedback and treatment planning)

  • Most clients complete this in 2 visits, depending on complexity and whether additional information is needed.

  • No. If medication is something you want to consider, we can recommend next steps for coordinating with your PCP or a psychiatric provider.

  • That’s still valuable. Many symptoms overlap with anxiety, trauma/stress, depression, sleep concerns, burnout, or medical factors. You’ll still leave with a plan for what to address next.

  • If full neuropsychological testing is needed, we will help you identify appropriate referral options.

  • This service is focused on screening and treatment planning. We provide clinical feedback and recommendations based on interview data, functional impairment, and objective testing (Conners CPT 3). If your situation requires a higher level of diagnostic evaluation, we’ll discuss appropriate referral options.

  • Coverage varies by plan and benefits (deductible vs copay/coinsurance). We can help verify benefits when possible and discuss options before moving forward.
