Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP): guided therapy + deeper change

KAP combines structured psychotherapy with ketamine treatment (through an outside prescriber) to help ease rooted patterns of depression, anxiety, and trauma—followed by intentional integration so change lasts.

Who KAP may help

KAP may be a fit if you’re struggling with:

  • Depression (including treatment-resistant depression)

  • Anxiety

  • PTSD / trauma-related symptoms

  • Addiction

  • Chronic pain (in some cases)

What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

KAP is a guided talk-therapy process paired with low-dose ketamine to help reduce entrenched patterns of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Sessions typically include:

  • Preparation of intention

  • A supervised medication session

  • Integration of themes and meaning-making to support lasting change

Important note about medical care

Ketamine is prescribed and medically managed by an outside prescriber/clinic. Our role is the psychotherapy portion of KAP—preparation, support during the process as appropriate, and integration therapy afterward. We coordinate with the prescriber as needed (with your consent).

What to expect (step-by-step)

Step 1: KAP Consultation
We review your goals, history, and determine whether KAP is clinically appropriate and safe for you.

Step 2: Preparation
We clarify intention, strengthen coping/grounding skills, and create a plan for the treatment process.

Step 3: KAP Sessions (weekly, 2–3 hours)
Sessions include guided therapeutic support aligned with the ketamine process and your goals.

Step 4: Integration
We process themes, apply insights to real life, and build a practical plan to support change between sessions.

Typical course: 6–8 weeks (varies by individual needs)

Fees (Private Pay)

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is private pay.
